Terms for request-based transfer and chauffeur service.

This page explains how transfer and chauffeur-driven transportation requests submitted to Karakus Travel are reviewed and handled.

Submitting a request does not automatically confirm a reservation. Availability, price, timing and suitable vehicle planning are reviewed manually before mutual confirmation.

1. Scope of Services

Karakus Travel reviews Istanbul-based VIP transfer, airport transfer, hotel and residence transfer, city chauffeur service, corporate guest transportation and selected intercity transfer requests. Each request is reviewed according to the route, date, time, passenger count, luggage details, special requirements and suitable vehicle planning.

2. Request Process

Requests may be submitted through the website, WhatsApp, phone, email or referral channels. Submitting a request does not automatically confirm a reservation. A reservation is finalized only after availability, price, timing and suitable vehicle planning are reviewed and mutually confirmed.

3. Pricing Information

Pricing may vary depending on route, date, time, passenger count, luggage, waiting needs, bridge/highway tolls, traffic conditions, intercity distance and suitable vehicle planning. Prices shown on the website or in promotional materials, if any, may be examples or general information. The final price is shared after the request details are reviewed.

4. Payment

In the current service flow, payment may be made by cash or bank transfer / IBAN. At this stage, the website does not provide online payment or automatic online reservation completion.

5. Waiting Time and Time Changes

A certain waiting time may apply for airport, hotel, residence or city pickups. If the waiting time is exceeded, additional charges, time adjustments or rescheduling may be required depending on the operation plan and following reservations.

6. Cancellation and Change Requests

Cancellation, time change, route change, passenger/luggage change or requests affecting vehicle planning are reviewed manually. If changes are requested close to the service time, pricing or availability may need to be reviewed again depending on the operation plan.

7. Passenger, Luggage and Vehicle Suitability

The customer is responsible for providing accurate passenger count, luggage details, flight information, pickup/drop-off points and special requests. If the actual details differ from the information first provided, suitable vehicle planning may need to be reviewed again. In such cases, a different vehicle option, additional vehicle planning, time adjustment or price update may be required.

8. Suitable Vehicle Planning

Karakus Travel plans suitable vehicle options according to request details. For group transfers, special events, heavy luggage or different capacity needs, vehicle options may be evaluated separately. Vehicle planning is finalized according to availability and operational suitability.

9. Special Requests

Requests such as child seats, extra stops, meet-and-greet, extended waiting, extra luggage or special notes may be evaluated if communicated in advance. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability, operation planning and suitable vehicle status.
