Karakus Travel uses a WhatsApp-first request model. The website helps you prepare a clear transfer request; availability, estimated price and final confirmation are reviewed manually after the request details are checked.
This notice is provided for information only. It is not legal advice, is not presented as lawyer-approved final legal text and may be updated when company, legal or operational details change.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Notice explains the main categories of personal data that may be processed when you contact Karakus Travel, request a transfer, discuss a confirmed operation or use the website. The service remains based on human review and direct communication.
2. Personal data we may collect at request stage
When you submit or send a transfer request, the following information may be collected if you choose to provide it:
name and surname
phone number
pickup point
destination
date
time
passenger count
luggage details
flight number
special notes
3. Additional data after confirmation or when required
After a request is confirmed, or when legally or operationally required, additional information may be requested only as needed:
Turkish ID number
passport number
nationality
invoice information
passenger list
operation / vehicle planning information
U-ETDS-related information if legally or operationally required

Personal data may be processed for the following request, communication and operation purposes:

5. Collection channels
Data may be collected through the channels used to communicate or prepare the request:

6. Access to data
Access is limited according to the request and operation need. Currently, Eren and Emre may access request data. If needed for the service, relevant details may also be accessed by an assigned driver, accounting support or vehicle/operation support person.
7. Sharing of data
Personal data may be shared only as necessary for service execution, including with an assigned driver, vehicle/operation support, accounting/invoicing support, legally authorized institutions or required business support providers.
8. Retention
Personal data is retained for the period necessary for request handling, reservation/operation, invoicing/accounting, legal obligations and possible customer request management. When the purpose ends or the legal retention period expires, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized according to applicable rules.
9. Cookies and analytics
The website currently uses Vercel Analytics for limited website performance and interaction insights, and a `karakus_locale` language preference cookie when a visitor selects a language. No GA4/GTM, advertising pixel or remarketing pixel was found at this stage. A separate Cookie Policy may be needed later if GA4/GTM, ad pixels, remarketing, heatmap/session replay, CRM tracking or broader third-party tracking is added.
10. Marketing communications
Regular promotional communication is not presented as an active use of request data. Promotional communications are only considered if the required permission or another suitable legal basis exists.
11. Updates
This Privacy Notice may be updated when the website, communication channels, operational process, company details, technical tools or applicable requirements change.
